My second masterpiece

I am absolutely aware of my opportunities in painting, because it's just the second work after so many years when I didn't even try to take a pencil, but I like it.

I had an idea of painting sculptures in Summer Garden because I miss it. And looking for a relevant fotos of sculptures in parks, in order to have examples, I realised how unique is my favorite Saint-Petersburg`s place. Really wonderful. Though it's not so perfect now, fringing in cells for trees... As if the parks should resemble the society.

But as an artist I could paint the Summer Garden I want. And so it came... the sculpture named "Night", the real one standing now in the park of Saint-Petersburg, but not where I placed it. I even removed the fence untill the Mikhailovsky Castle.

And I practised some different techniques in one painting. So it looks absolutely different in the left and in the right parts.

And what I liked most about the work. What surprised me most thought it's a very simple understanding. I found out that my picture looks different if I look at it with the light from the right and the left, and the most beautiful it is when the light from the window goes that same way as the light in the painting. Wow!
